If you shop for Dr. Bed merchandise and place your orders exclusively through Dr-Bed.net, or if you were introduced to Dr. Bed through our partner company, Hantermann - Hotel- und Objektausstatungen or HOTELundOBJEKT.com, any personal information that you may share with us (and with the business partners that help this site function or assist us in fulfilling your order) is kept absolutely private. Neither your name nor anything about you is sold or shared with any other non-affiliated company or agency.

Types of personal information we may gather
Purchases - When you place an order, you give us your name, address, phone number or e-mail address plus credit card information. If you create a Personal Shopping Account with us, so that you may place orders more conveniently, you authorize us to store your name and shipping address(es), and credit card and billing information.

How we use cookies
You do need to accept or use cookies to shop at Dr-Bed.net. The cookies are for your convenience only, and are not used for any other purpose. If you are a "cookie-phobe," you may set your browser to accept no cookies, or tell it to erase all cookies at the end of a session.

Our business partners
In order to ship and track merchandise, we make your name and address available to such companies as United Parcel Service, Deutsche Post, Deutscher Pakete Dienst, etc. In no instance are these business affiliates allowed to use your personal information for any other purpose.

Removing your name from mailing lists
If you order Dr. Bed merchandise and you do not want to receive our occasional email special announcements, you can contact us via e-mail at info@Dr-Bed.net. Please include your name and mailing address in the message.

Since Dr-Bed.net went live in 2000, there has never been a confirmed case of fraud reported by our customers as a result of a credit card purchase made with us.

All credit transactions occur in a secure area of our site, to protect you from any loss, misuse or alteration of information collected. Your financial information is safe
We use Secure Socket Layers (SSL), the industry standard in transferring information to process your orders. The SSL encrypts, or translates, your order information into a highly indecipherable code, which is processed immediately. In addition, we employ an outside company to "audit" our security and make sure it is trustworthy.

Your transactions are secure
When you've finished shopping and begin the checkout process, you will move into the secure area of our site. A warning window may pop up to notify you that you are entering this "safe" area. Once you've entered, the page address (URL) will change from http to https, to let you know you are in a secure area. Also, a key or a closed lock will appear in the lower left hand corner of your screen to notify you of this change. You will remain in this secure zone for the entire checkout process.

You assume no risk
In the unlikely event that anything happened with your credit card transaction, we would assume all liability. We'd work with your card company to cover any cost and to minimize hassle for you. Our commitment in this regard is total and unconditional.

GUARANTEE
Return Policy
Since Dr. Bed merchandizes hygienic products, any return is conditional. Merchandise may be returned within 14 days of receipt. In order to stay within the deadline the returned merchandise has to be postmarked or Dr. Bed has to receive a written notice within the term. Only unused, undamaged merchandise may be sent in the unopened original package. The cost for returning merchandise has to be carried by the customer. Used, damaged and opened merchandise cannot be accepted for reasons of hygiene.

Damaged Merchandise
Should the merchandise have visible material defects or should it have been damaged during transport, please notify us immediately. Within statutory limits you may rightfully claim cost free repair. If necessary we will exchange articles in part or as a whole. Should a defect not be repaired within a reasonable time you have the choice of either reversing the purchase or reducing the price. At all times the warranties of the original producer are in effect.

Miscellaneous
All entries have been made with care. As with all human undertakings we cannot, however, rule out errors. The product pictures depict sample merchandise. Sizes, forms, and colors are close approximates only, specifically to reserve the right of producers to improve merchandise for technical and security reasons. We reserve the right to change prices without notice. Dr. Bed holds the copyright for the entire website as well as parts of it.
